SPECIFICATION
A grocery market is looking for an HR Generalist.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:
Administration
- Ensure Company Organogram is always updated.
- Ensure all HR Reports are up to date for the generalist functions.
- Liaising with employees for internal admin documents required such as employment confirmations, UIF etc.
- Filing of employee personal documents.
Recruitment
- Builds relationships with recruitment Agencies to manage recruiter deliverables
- Sources candidates from various platforms to fulfil hires
- Manages Internships and Graduate programmes
- Facilitate complete talent management function
- Ensures all background checks (criminal, ITC, reference) for all employable candidates.
- Develops policy & be a custodian for and apply the recruitment policy.
Onboarding and offboarding
- Manages & Develops Onboarding Programme for business
- Updates payroll reports for new starts joining the business.
- Ensures all new starts are listed on the onboarding schedule for their first day of work and induction packs are ready.
Wellness
- Develops, Manage, maintaining, and reporting on employee wellness programs in the business.
- Industrial Relations
- Drafts and Issues Warnings in the business
- Disciplinary hearings and manages IR processes
- Advises Manages on IR issues and Legislation
- IR Reporting
- Ensures IR training for line managers is scheduled at least twice a year as part of the business training calendar.
Training
- Ensures that all Line Departments are trained as per the HR training calendar
- Facilitates Training & Development for employees in the company
- Drafts Training needs and Skills plan as required by each Department
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant Diploma or Degree or studying towards (Preferably HRM or Industrial Psychology)
- 5 years’ experience in Human Resources as a Generalist.
- Drivers Licence and Own Vehicle
- Good Understanding of SA Employment Legislation
