SPECIFICATION

A leading importer and supplier of fresh, frozen, and FMCG products into the hospitality and retail marketplace is looking for a HORECA Sales Manager who will be responsible for the range of the products on offer including perishables such as fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen and chilled meat, and dairy products. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the Food Service industry and in selling perishable produce (both chilled and frozen) into the HORECA operations. Candidates must have prior experience in dealing with chefs, F&B managers, purchasing managers and group purchasing managers, but also had exposure to FMCG products and the sales thereof.

The candidate must be sales driven, someone who can continuously looking for new and different ways to improve our service to the end consumer. Experience in dealing with Key Accounts as well as managing a team of sales reps.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Focused on business development, growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Sales of fresh, frozen, and dry produce into the hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments in the Seychelles.
  • Continually looking to grow the basket of products that are sold to the HORECA industry
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a sales team.
  • Successfully managing all key accounts
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with various managers in the hospitality industry.
  • Identifying market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Reporting back to the General Manager on the market trends
  • Ensuring that budgets set are achieved
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

 

REQUIREMENTS              

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience to the HORECA industry specifically in food and beverage
  • Proven Sales management experience
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the HORECA market
  • Experience dealing with chefs, food and beverage and procurement managers
  • Experience in selling perishable produce both fresh and frozen
  • Successful managed and led a sales team that have consistently met or exceeded targets
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business acumen and industry expertise
  • Experience in living and working outside of their home country
  • Flexible and able to operate in a diverse and dynamic market
  • Excellent track record of developing winning customer relationships and partnerships including key accounts.
