SPECIFICATION
A Multinational leading ISP with large scale national network, is looking for a Sales Consultant to sell and market their products and services directly to prospective clients while building and maintaining healthy, long-term relationship with them. The individual appointed to this role would also need to maintain a client portfolio and ensure that all related queries are dealt with in a professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Client Development
- To identify and develop profitable new business opportunities while achieving sales targets;
- To develop new sales leads and build a database of potential clients through cold calling and walking of build routes;
- To generate sales by selling to MDU’s, Complexes and Estates;
- To follow the business’ standard operating procedures at all times;
- To maintain and grow existing business by maximising cross/up selling opportunities;
- To develop strong client relationships to enhance and increase sales potential;
- To keep up to-date sales pipelines for all existing and prospective client interactions on company’s systems;
- To prepare accurate, detailed and professional written proposals and quotations where applicable;
- To ensure a professional sales approach is followed at all times;
- To ensure that your customer portfolio is satisfied and that all payments are collected within the acceptable parameters;
- To ensure all sales transactions comply with the company’s standard terms and conditions;
- Manage client relationships by keeping open lines of communication;
- Liaise between the client and operational units to ensure implementation of solutions sold.
Operational Effectiveness
- Working hours are 08h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday.
- Be punctual, responsible and diligent in all tasks and duties attended to.
- Complete accurate and timely sales administration records
- Assist service delivery teams where required
- Submit to the Manager all relevant reports, paperwork and update on all future sales activity
- Educate prospective and current clients on our products, support & offerings.
- Any additional responsibilities as required from time to time
- Comply with company policy and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 with English and a second language
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- PC Literacy - word, excel, email and internet
- 3 years working/sales experience in connectivity
- Pass technical competence tests on all products
- Display an understanding and knowledge of the product and industry
- Reliable vehicle and driver’s license a must.
