SPECIFICATION

A leading FMCG exporter is currently looking for seasoned enthusiastic Marketing Manager. We are looking for a creative minded, ambitious, determined individual with a strong business acumen to fulfil the role of a Marketing Manager within our organisation. Strong communication coupled with the ability to successfully lead and motivate a marketing team are the core skills for this position.

The marketing manager will be responsible for the expansion of the business’ international brand awareness footprint as well as the promotion of our brand and brands we represent at trade shows, major industry-related events, and through strategic advertising in target markets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop a marketing strategy for the business
  • Expand the business’ international brand awareness footprint
  • Plan and direct branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Promote our brand and brands we represent at trade shows, major industry-related events, and through strategic advertising in target markets.
  • Implement strategy-driven social media strategies
  • Implement effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
  • Track effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Conduct research in foreign markets to identify opportunities for expansion
  • Analyse data and reports to assess market trends and competitor activities in an overseas market
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, catalogues, or advertisements in foreign languages for use in international markets
  • Oversee website maintenance
  • Negotiate and liaise with third-party marketing agencies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Manager leading a marketing team.
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology, and budgeting
  • Demonstrated history of planning successful product launches and events
  • Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management, and the organisation at large
