A digital innovation, development, and execution business is looking for a Marketing & Design Assistant to join their Marketing team. If you are enthusiastic about conceptualising brands and designing social media collateral and are looking to work in a supportive and fun team, then this role is for you.

This individual’s involvement is key in the creation of marketing collateral, as well as the design of brand collateral. This role would also assist the marketing team with achieving their marketing objectives internally & externally, which includes Go to Market initiatives.



  • Develop new concepts
  • Design top-notch visual content
  • Design Promotional material
  • Test graphics on different devices and social media platforms
  • Strengthen the brand image
  • Quote graphics that reflect the vision and message of our brand, enabling followers to relate and build a relationship with our business.
  • Implementing and upholding brand CI guidelines across all work


  • Assist with the implementation of marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on marketing needs
  • Uploading content on various social media platforms
  • Newsletter content planning & design
  • Compile communication on CRM
  • Assist with campaign tracking
  • Improve marketing efforts

Go to Market:

  • Assist with research of marketing industry trends and behaviours and reporting
  • Assisting with creating, scheduling and management for content
  • Marketing competitive analysis
  • Assist in Planning, designing, executing and analysing campaigns focused on customer growth



  • Familiar with and able to execute design activities in a project with guidance from the Marketing and Design teams
  • Good working knowledge of company design tools & processes (Canva, Figma, Miro)
  • Good understanding of iconography, typography, and layout design
  • Good working knowledge of the design specs for each social media platform
  • Experience in designing for print and digital products
  • Ownership: takes ownership of deliverables/pieces of work within a project
  • Interest in GTM development able to assist with implementing the strategies in the market through the use of data, voice of the customer and stakeholder inputs.

Communication & Task Management:

  • Timekeeping, estimation on time needed to complete a given task
  • Work independently and in groups
  • Day-to-day planning and time management
  • Work with the marketing team to plan and implement designs
  • Follow existing design processes and file maintenance
  • Work with the design manager to maintain a good workflow and organisation of design files
  • Inform the design and/or marketing manager of any blockers, challenges, or inconsistencies

  • Figma
  • Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (or open-source equivalent)

  • Miro
  • Trello
  • Flinto
  • Invision Studio
  • Hype 4
  • Google Slides (or Powerpoint)

Key Designer Traits:

  • Interest in new design trends
  • Interest in Go to Market strategies
  • Creativity, able to produce original ideas.
  • Interpreting briefs with support from the Marketing team
  • Good communication skills
  • Works well with others and takes constructive feedback positively
