SynergyERP is looking for a 300 People Consultant Team-Leader to provide a value-added service to clients through the implementation of the 300 People software. Improving how the client uses technology and giving the client the necessary resources to manage their business to the best of their ability. Manage a team of 2 – 4 consultants.


Continuous communication with the client:

  • Ensure that services provided to the client meet their exact requirements as set out by the client, ensuring that the final output of providing a value-added service is achieved.
  • Build and maintain sustainable relationships with Sage 300 People clients
  • Consult on all aspects with regards to the software implementation (scoping, guidelines, requirements, data handling, roll out and support)
  • Be able to manage client’s requirements and expectations
  • Provide analytical and insightful recommendations to client and team

Value-added training sessions:

  • Provide internal training and support to clients regarding Sage 300 People product
  • Providing the super users with changes for them to give their input to ensure that the new system can be used effectively and that the new system enables the client to perform their day-to-day activities more efficiently.
  • Ensures that issues on the system are identified at an earlier stage of implementation, ensuring that the go-live system is in a more functional state.

Team leader:

  • Lead a team of 2-4 consultants, contributing and sharing best practices, knowledge, resources, and guidance
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure smooth, on-time, and successful solutions are delivered
  • Support others in problem-solving and provide support and advice to less experienced consultants to manage product implementations

300 People Specialist:

  • A deeper understanding of the Sage 300 People system is required to work with and advise developers with integrations.
  • Knowledge and experience of SQL and the 300 People database is advantageous


  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Preferred);
  • Sage 300 People Certified;
  • 3 years experience consulting on Sage 300 People product;
  • 3 years payroll experience; and
  • Own vehicle and valid license.

  • Basic understanding of Payroll systems.
  • Can apply cognitive learning quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent admin skills (required for task list updating, booking of time, and keeping up with Microsoft Teams messages)
  • Ability to take in a lot of information at a rapid rate and convert the learning into usable long-term knowledge.
  • Be able to work exceptionally fast and effective under high-pressure environments
  • Adaptability: be able to adapt through different projects, different clients, and different working environments daily
