An IT solutions company are looking for a Supplier & Performance Manager to manage multiple service suppliers by integrating them, so they can collaborate to provide the customer expected value. The integration introduces the concept of a single, customer-facing logical entity known as the service integrator.

Supplier and performance management under the SIAM function is to ensure that the organization’s suppliers and their performances are managed appropriately to support the seamless provision of quality products and services. This includes creating closer, more collaborative relationships with key suppliers to uncover and realise new value and reduce the risk of failure.


  • Gathering business requirements for outsourcing or seeking products or services
  • Approving prerequisites for supplier selection
  • Involving intermediaries for creating rfxs and/or managing the rfx process
  • Categorizing suppliers based on their importance to the organization
  • Approving rfx-sent suppliers
  • Handling due diligence and the contract negotiation process
  • Providing direction to onboard or offboard suppliers and/or services
  • Designing and instituting governance and compliance organizational and conflict-resolving procedures
  • Chairing and conducting governance and compliance and supplier review meetings
  • Ensuring the inclusion of clauses related to conflict resolving as part of the contract
  • Providing decisions on conflicts, rewards, penalties, and exceptions


  • Grade 12
  • ITIL Foundation qualification
  • Strong Excel Skills,
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role,
  • Technical qualifications would be beneficial
  • 4-6 years experience as an asset manager or supplier manager
  • Good understanding of the organization’s strategy, stakeholders, key services, and supplier ecosystem
  • Expertise in sourcing, supplier, procurement, contracts management
  • Knowledge of the IT asset register and ITSM tools

  • Excellent communication skills
  • High levels of emotional intelligence to manage conflict between customer and provider
  • Able to develop and use a supplier rating system
  • Ability to build a provider framework and balance scorecard for evaluation
