SPECIFICATION   

A Scrap Metal Dealer based in Salt River is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

• Full accounting responsibilities
• Full bookkeeping responsibilities
• VAT, UIF, PAYE returns
• Income Tax calculations & returns
• Liaison with SARS – higher level queries, appointments
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements from Trial Balance
• Other general office responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS  

• B Acc/B.Com/B.Compt. or presently studying towards this
• Some bookkeeping experience required.
• Advanced excel, Pastel/Quickbooks and accounting software
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English
• Advanced time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Independent result driven thinkers
• Results orientated
• Attention to detail
• The will to constantly grow and develop to be the best
• Own transport essential
• Non-smoker
