A Multinational leading ISP with large scale national network, is looking for a Network Engineer who will be part of the Network Engineer Centre (NOC) and will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting and scheduling within a growing WAN network. The goal is to ensure the high availability of the network in order to provide best in class service to clients.


  • The Network Engineer will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Monitoring of the network
  • Fault logging and escalation
  • Fault finding & link restoration
  • Scheduling of internal teams to repair faults
  • Customer relationship management – Internal & External
  • Outage and maintenance notifications:
    • Noticeboard
    • IVR
    • Emails
    • Telegram group
  • Care of platinum customers
  • First line of support for higher tier queries
  • Servicing of afterhours queries and maintenance confirmations from infrastructure providers
  • Afterhours monitoring of faults and client updates
  • From time to time be prepared to undertake any reasonable requests as requested by Management.
  • Liaising with all clients in a professional manner.
  • Be willing to assist with any new tasks as and when required by the company.


  • Must have Drivers licence
  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work unsupported
  • Attention to details
  • Very strict and deadline driven
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Prioritise multiple tasks to ensure the successful completion
  • Must have a good understanding of Mikrotik and Cisco devices
  • Qualifications in CCNA, Mikrotik and N+ will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience within the field

Working hours

  • NOC will be functional from 7am till 7pm and a shift roster will be made available
  • 24/7 shift roster will be implemented
  • Overtime and weekend work will be required from time to time
