A leading FMCG business, based in Elsies River are looking for someone to join their team. They are a medium sized business but with a small team of outstanding sales employees who are looking for someone to strategize on new markets and new opportunities within the industry, locally and abroad. If you have a great strategic mind, with the ability to implement ideas this is for you.
• Strategize on new markets/products/opportunities locally and abroad
• Meet up with partners/suppliers/contacts regarding strategy
• Run strategy/ideas with executive team weekly/monthly
• Implement approved strategies/ideas through to contract stage
• Build relationships in the industry
• Research concepts and ideas thoroughly
• Able to get into new industries/markets through contacts or cold calling
• Able to investigate import/export opportunity
• Work with cold stores when required and linked to strategy
• Obtaining new business as well as have existing customer care duties
• Must define and implement the strategy to meet client needs and in compliance with the strategic areas assigned by the Company
• Must develop a network of Key customers to ensure that all opportunities are identified and creates competitive offers to encourage customer retention and winning of new business whilst optimizing revenues and profitability
• Produce revenue growth by strategy and business opportunities
• Assess and identify business and industry needs and conduct customer and market analysis to determine requirements and constraints, determine the impact of products/services on customers, and identify which products, services and features to promote to current/potential customers/market
• Work productively in a team atmosphere
• Executive level engagement
• Operational implementation of new business signed
• Must have the ability to execute instructions and meet deadlines / finish tasks on time, willingness to learn and to go the extra mile.

• Essential Food/FMCG background
• Experienced in industry of more than 10 years
• Able to speak English and Afrikaans fluently
• Strategic and new markets experience
• Contacts with current suppliers/market leaders
• Frozen food experience (advantage)
• Preferably with degree/diploma
• Must have a solid working history
• Good communications skills in order to form relationships with industry
• Experience in business models
