The Registrar is responsible for the enrolment cycle of students, the external quality assurance of academic programme approval, accreditation and registration. Maintaining of student administrative and management information system, while ensuring a positive experience for all students on the Company’s development programmes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

Strategic Focus:
• Professional academic and administrative support to achieve the purpose of the Company.
• Support the culture of the Company through effective leadership, management and governance.
• Maintain critical teaching and learning methodologies throughout all programmes to achieve the highest levels of quality.

Academic Compliance:
• Regulatory Compliance - ensure that the Institute of Leadership complies with relevant quality assurance bodies; CHE, DHET and SETA requirements are fulfilled.
• Policies: Ensure all academic policies are up to date and actively implemented.
• Quality Assurance: Manage the Quality Assurance and Academic Board Committees and ensure that the meetings are booked and recorded.
• Consolidate Academic Policies and Procedures according to Academic Committee.
• Manage the Academic Calendar.

Academic Administration:
• Effective management of students: Verification and registration, record keeping and graduation process.
• Proactive student support: Communicate academic requirements to students.
• Anticipate and address student academic needs.
• Empower students to comply with academic requirements.
• Empower our facilitators to guide and support the student.
• Ensure professional student assessment.
• Allocate all student assignments to the Company assessors punctually.
• Engage assessors to ensure results are returned timeously.
• Ensure all assessment results are captured accurately on student profiles.
• Communicate results timeously to students and client programme co-ordinators.
• Assignment submission.
• Client status reporting.
• Follow the prescribed approach for team performance management.
• Adhere to all corporate governance and policies.
• Effective teamwork - collaborate with team members by sharing information that applies to their roles and to highlight issues that impact their roles.
• Contribute with insights that will help develop team members.

REQUIRMENTS
• Masters Degree in Education
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an academic environment.
